Shadows

 Shadow - too much or too little? In   Soul Collage   Evolving, Seena Frost wrote,    "every Neter exists in form. It may be visible or invisible, but there is still form,  .... and every form casts a shadow."  (P 7) Morning sky In our January cohort of the  SoulCollage® Facilitator training, we are exploring ways  Shadow aspects of any quality might play out.  Reviewing my notes from our small group's discussion this week, I was stuck by a comment on a 'Time' Archetype shadow being 'the procrastinator' !  Oy! A few months later, I met my massage mentor Jeanne Christensen at a community event where we both had booths.  I'd grown up with a family practice of massage, rubbing my mom's back and feet from ~ 5 years old - and of course, receiving massage from her!  I got a short session from her booth partner,  and quickly signed up for a series of massage classes Jeanne was offering!  When I learned that like my mom, Jeanne had polio, and massage was a saving grace of her treatment, I realized I'd found my career path! Jeanne was looking for a couple of massage therapists to join her practice, and open a clinic!
