Time Angel

During our Orientation session Sunday, Mariabruna asked us to be attentive to coming on time, during our facilitator training , and I thought my Time Angel! In the mid 90s, my friend Anita suggested we call on the Time Angels when we were dashing to a Reiki circle - and we arrived just a wee bit 'late!' I loved the concept, and since, often invite the Time Angels' help, especially for group work! The indigenous view of time puts people first. If you're on your way to a gathering - and notice Aunt Annie stopped by the side of the road with a flat tire - if you want to be on time, you need to stop and help her! Time Angel I am one who  ... finds the right time moves in and out of time seamlessly tends to Aunt Annie takes timely action. Time is a present.  Take time for Creativitea.  Pay attention to the time signature … There's always time for a cuppa, especially with a friend! I often placed a small Time Angel card on my altar for my  Intentional Creativity ...

Light Dance

Welcome to Day 5 of our Blog challenge ! My virtual friend Amber offers Woman Unleashed workshops at least annually - and this winter, she chose favorite interviews from years past for the content! ( And free offers from the presenters!) I love the variety of creative offerings - and Amber's 'Permission Slip' to do a much - or as little - as fit our energy and time - no guilt!!  I've participated in WU before, as Amber is also a graduate of the Color of Woman Intentional creativity program. I did a few of this year's sessions, and really enjoyed them!  This collage was from Robin McClendon's collage mandala session.  I did mine in the smaller SoulCollage® format (5×8") - and she's the first card of 2026!  She's in the Council suit. Light Dance I am one who reaches for the light ____ is lit from within and without  ____ captures fireflies - and opens the jar! I loved Lou Reed's session on creating a Spirit Doll, to support our intention/ goal...

Herb Woman

I just created a card for one of my lifelong Archetypes - ☆Herb Woman in the Meadow☆ When I was 5, we moved onto an acre South of Redmond, and there were several broken cinder blocks left over from the construction of our garage.   I'd go out in the pasture, and gather some of the softer leaves, dandelion, yarrow, sage brush, ... and use a stone to crush them in my makeshift mortar - the depression in a block! (Not having seen a mortar in our 1950s kitchen!)  Then, 'knowing/ not knowing there was something more to do,'  I'd roll them into little 'pills,' and leave them to dry in the desert sun! Herb Woman in the Meadow •  Council Neter I am one who ___ Gathers the herbs Listens to the moon, the stars, the planets  Leaves an offering Makes tisanes and tinctures Treasures the flowers I invite you to ___ Enjoy this mild autumn weather  Treasure your time in nature Leave a little offering Cleanse, clear, rebalance, Illuminate  Herb Woman in t...

Archetypes - Council Suit

This SoulCollage® suit is the 'Council of Archetypes.' The word Archetype comes from the Greek 'archetypos,' meaning 'first of is kind.'  Jung described archetypes as part of the  'collective unconscious.'  These Larger than Life figures are Universal, appearing over the centuries in many cultures, lands and stories.  We create Council Cards for these archetypal Figures who guide our lives. They can provide the inspiration and wisdom we need to understand ourselves, and perhaps make better choices! Seena called these beings ' Neters' - a word used by the Egyptians for cosmic beings and qualities. From the description on the KaleidoSoul site: we build this suit  "with openness and reverence, following our intuition and allowing the images we are drawn to reveal themselves to us when we are ready."  Wisdom Seena Frost described Archetypes as, 'the invisible guides, challengers, creators and destroyers, know across time and cultur...

Prerequisites

Have you done a course or training with prerequisites? In college, it's 100 level classes - though dear Jane Goodall went directly into doctorate classes, without even a bachelor's! When I made my first SoulCollage® cards~ 16 years back, I enjoyed the process, and several times, considered taking the facilitator training, but other things called. ... 3 Ring Notebook for the training My friend  Cindy  became a SC facilitator winter before last, and I've made a dozen or so cards with her over the last year. As I've made more cards, the yen to become a facilitator has been pulling - so I entered the preparation stage.  The prerequisites include: Read Seena's book SoulCollage Evolving (I'm working through it)  Listen to Intro to Soul Collage (my Soul SiStar Valerie sent me a packet including this CD!) Make at least 14 cards from the 4  suits   Take a qualifying Intro course  Experience and practice key activities (listed on the central car...
